Case Study
HRTKIN
A family first matchmaking platform built around trust, consent, and cultural alignment
HRTKIN is a family based matchmaking application designed to bring structure, safety, and transparency to traditional family involved matchmaking. The platform allows family matchmakers to create participant profiles, manage preferences, review suggested matches, request consent, and move forward only when all parties are aligned.

Project Overview
HRTKIN was created to modernize the traditional matchmaking process without removing the family values that make it meaningful. The goal was to build a digital platform where family members can support the matchmaking journey while participants stay protected through clear consent based flows.

About The Project

The product experience was built around a sensitive user journey. Family involved matchmaking is not just about browsing profiles. It requires trust, privacy, family input, participant consent, profile accuracy, and step by step approval.
The Family Matchmaker can create an account, add participant details, define match preferences, view suggested profiles, invite the participant, approve suitable profiles, send match requests, and manage incoming requests from other families.
The Participant can join through an invitation link or family code, complete their profile, upload photos, add personal details, review family approved profiles, provide consent, view incoming approvals, and confirm final matches.

Challenges
This was not a basic matchmaking product. The real challenge was building a platform that respects traditional family involvement while still giving participants control over their own decisions. It also needed strong moderation, privacy, and approval flows because matchmaking involves highly personal information.
Designing approvals across families and participants without creating user confusion.
Balancing family involvement while preserving participant autonomy and privacy.
Managing multiple participant profiles under one family matchmaker account.
Our Solutions
A Structured Product Approach
Role Based Product Architecture
We planned separate journeys for Family Matchmakers and Participants while keeping both experiences connected through invitation codes, approval flows, and family unit logic.
Family Matchmaker Dashboard
The Family Matchmaker experience allows users to add participants, manage profiles, set match preferences, view suggestions, approve profiles, send invitations, and track match progress from one clean dashboard.
Participant Profile Completion Flow
We designed a guided profile setup where participants can add personal details, photos, bio, career information, lifestyle preferences, interests, and final profile approval details step by step.
Consent Based Matchmaking
The platform was built around a clear approval model. Matches only move forward when the family and participant on both sides provide consent, keeping the experience respectful and transparent.
Preference Based Suggestions
Family Matchmakers can define preferences such as age, education, profession, location, lifestyle, cultural values, religion where applicable, and personality expectations to improve match relevance.
Invitation Link and Family Code Flow
Participants join the platform through a unique invitation link or family code, automatically connecting them to the correct family unit without manual linking.
Multiple Participant Management
A single Family Matchmaker can manage multiple participant profiles under one family account, with separate preferences, photos, match history, approvals, and suggestions for each person.
Secure Chat After Approval
Private communication is only unlocked after the required approvals are completed. This keeps conversations controlled, intentional, and aligned with the platform’s trust first model.
Profile Privacy and Safety Controls
Participants can manage privacy settings, edit profile details, block users, report inappropriate behavior, and control their visibility inside the platform.
Super Admin Panel
The web based admin dashboard supports user management, match management, profile moderation, content moderation, system settings, analytics, export tools, and feedback monitoring.
Behind the
Product Vision
HRTKIN was built with a clear vision: create a modern matchmaking experience that respects family traditions while giving users stronger privacy, consent, and digital structure. The product does not try to replace family involvement. It improves it. Families can guide the process, participants stay in control, and every match follows a transparent approval journey.
