QA Manager

Job Description

  • We are looking for an experienced QA Manager to lead quality assurance across web, mobile, SaaS, AI, and digital product development projects.
  • The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manual testing, automation testing, test planning, quality strategy, bug reporting, team leadership, and product release management.
  • This role is responsible for making sure every product we deliver is stable, user friendly, secure, and aligned with client expectations.
  • The right person for this role should not only find bugs but also prevent them by creating strong testing processes and guiding QA teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the QA process across mobile apps, websites, dashboards, admin panels, SaaS platforms, and AI enabled products.
  • Create detailed test plans, test cases, test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and quality checklists.
  • Manage manual testing, regression testing, smoke testing, usability testing, API testing, performance testing, and cross browser testing.
  • Review project requirements and identify quality risks before development begins.
  • Work with business analysts and product teams to make sure features are clearly defined and testable.
  • Assign testing tasks to QA team members and monitor testing progress.
  • Review bug reports and make sure issues are properly documented with steps, screenshots, videos, severity, and expected results.
  • Coordinate with developers to verify fixes and ensure issues are fully resolved before release.
  • Build and improve QA workflows, release approval processes, testing templates, and reporting standards.
  • Support automation testing strategy where required and work with automation engineers to improve test coverage.
  • Track product quality metrics including defect rate, reopen rate, test coverage, release readiness, and production issues.
  • Make final QA recommendations before product launches, client demos, app store submissions, and production deployments.
  • Mentor junior QA resources and help improve their testing discipline, communication, and product understanding.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in software quality assurance, with team lead or QA management experience.
  • Strong experience testing mobile applications, web applications, admin panels, APIs, and SaaS platforms.
  • Deep understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, agile development, sprint testing, and release cycles.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Trello, ClickUp, TestRail, Postman, BrowserStack, Firebase, GitHub, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar tools is preferred.
  • Strong ability to write clear test cases, bug reports, QA summaries, and release notes.
  • Good understanding of UI UX quality, responsive behavior, user flows, edge cases, and performance issues.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to push back professionally when quality standards are not met.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field is preferred.
